The Edition V2
Hello and welcome to the Edition V2
This month has seen many more people sign up and ‘Join the Chat!’ One topic of discussion over the last few weeks has been 'The Apprentice', although it is a commercial frenzy for the TV. Lots of business people like to watch the show to generally take the Mick or pick up on Ideas. You’re Fired. We’ve picked out a few interesting topics of debate for you to have look at and join in with: Have you used the new Royal Mail Online posting system? Check out this thread to see what members of UKBC have to say: http://www.ukbusinesschat.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=558 Does your money get spent wisely? Why not post in here to tell others your mistakes so they don’t have to make them: http://www.ukbusinesschat.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=563 Comspec, one of our valued members wrote out a laptop security guide, take a look here to see what he has to say in this day and age of mobile devices: http://www.ukbusinesschat.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=557 and if you want to catch up on 'The Apprentice' chat, click here: http://www.ukbusinesschat.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=546 TOP MEMBER This month we’ve decided to do something special for one of our members, this is a complete surprise and ‘he’ doesn’t know what’s about to come. This guy is actually our newest mod and spends a lot of time on the forum delving into questions and helping out where he can. I chose Justin (Baize LTD) this month as I think we can all learn a thing or two from him. Maybe not business wise but definitely when it comes to the old saying, try, try, try again. Justin actually inherited Baize LTD from a very good friend of his. Unfortunately he is not with us today however I’m sure Justin is eternally grateful for his friends last birthday present before he passed. Why not take a minute to remember all the things anybody has ever done for you and how it affected your life. Started in April 2000, Justin has put in hard work, effort, blood, sweat and tears into Baize with the drive to make his late friend proud and over the past year, make his new little boy ‘Ollie’ proud of his daddy, with the hope of one day passing the business down to him. As with everything, Justin has had a hard time with the business. It’s not easy to start something in what is quite a Niche area, what with this and a hard normal background. Justin has had a tough time. No matter how bad things get, Justin remains positive. He teaches players in his spare time when he’s not coming up with ideas for Baize to make sure he can keep things ticking over. I thought Justin’s ‘business’ story may inspire a few new entrepreneurs out there to make sure they never give up if they think it can work. No matter how bad you get, remember that there is always something, somebody and some business doing a lot worse than you are. Just remember that your in business, you’re self employed and are in a place that so many wished they could be. Below is a picture of Justin with his baby boy Ollie: www.baizeltd.com is the website of Baize LTD. I hope you liked this months Edition, so please do tell everyone about our friendly business community when and where you can. We want to strive to make UKBC the friendliest business forum around, where one another can come together, for friendship, for help, for genuine human kindness. Whether you use UKBC for just business reasons or you have joined for the friendship, camaraderie and help during times of need. Without you guys we cannot continue to be the forum that we are. So please do pop in and say hi. I’d like to ask you all if you could pop in, once a day, just to see if there’s anything new, or if there is anything new you can introduce for discussion, it’ll make a whole world of good! Thanks for reading, Jamie and the UKBC Team. Jamie Asonda - Custom Computers | Custom Computer Blog | |
