Re: Home Networking
A home network connects your Xbox 360 console and all the computers and devices (printers/copiers/scanners/faxes, even TVs and audio systems) in your house so that you can share those devices, share your files—including music, pictures, and movies and so that multiple people can surf the Internet and access Xbox LIVE at the same time.
A direct connection has its disadvantages, however, including: 1. Your PC and your Xbox 360 system cannot access the Internet at the same time. 2. Swapping the modem connection between your Xbox 360 system and your PC gets old quickly. 3. Unless your Xbox 360 console and your TV are right next to your modem, you'll need to drape Ethernet cable across your house to enjoy an Internet connection. sd hc |

RE: Re: Home Networking
The easiest way is to purchase a router. You plug both machines into the router and then you can easily share files back and forth. The name of each computer will be significant to looking for files on the other machine. You can map network drives to the other computer and have them logon automatically at reboot - that way you will have quick and easy access to the other computers files.
